Appartamento Punta Negra, Stintino, near Alghero, Sardinia

This 2 story rental is one of three apartments which make up the building and is found in the Punta Negra complex 5 minutes from Stintino village. It has air conditioning and heating. It is set in a peaceful area and after a 2 minute walk you will reach the first of five private beaches.

There are tennis and basket ball courts. A path through fragrant wild macchia, the ever present Mediterranean vegetation (in Sardinia mainly juniper trees, rosemary bushes, corbezzolo trees) will lead you down to the pristine white beach framed by turquoise transparent water. On the first floor there is a double bedroom looking out onto the terrace. There is a fan in the room to keep you cool. Just round the corner there is a shower room. There is also a second bedroom with bunk beds perfect for children.

The living area/kitchen is open plan and extremely well equipped with new appliances (fridge, hob, oven, washing machine). There is a new flat screen TV with satellite. A set of double doors lead onto the large balcony/terrace where you have plenty of room to enjoy the sea views and a good BBQ. There is a large table with plenty of seating a gorgeous bourgonvilia cascading down and the gas BBQ is good quality and easy to use.

Stairs lead to the next floor where there is another double room with en suite and is set in an unusual minstrel gallery type area with a partially low ceiling. Following on from this room there is an interconnecting room with a child’s bed. It has very low ceilings (the tallest point is 1.30 m) but has an ‘Alice in Wonderland’ feel to it.
